It's the reason we can read a book several times and always find something new. It is because we bring something new every time.
Jai Visiting from IWSGJaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01855191816253362396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-40133646317533589542013-03-06T12:51:21.381-08:002013-03-06T12:51:21.381-08:00I fear that the research I've done won't s...I fear that the research I've done won't show enough in my writing, or that perhaps it becomes too factual without enough emotional attachement with the characters. I wrote a historical novel so it's all about blending those two concepts. I would love to hear someone further down the road that this insecurity and fearfulness goes away, but I don't think it does!Stephscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06328839483008086049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-61115046665808312392013-03-06T11:08:21.335-08:002013-03-06T11:08:21.335-08:00Maybe a good way to think about it is that we'...Maybe a good way to think about it is that we're always learning and growing. ;)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10680066584646789184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-56463828717542465922013-03-06T08:48:18.201-08:002013-03-06T08:48:18.201-08:00I fear that I've put a substantial portion of ...I fear that I've put a substantial portion of my life into writing a story that no one else sees potential to. :-/Misha Gerrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06364173848456424521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-5583450019432585532013-03-06T08:05:29.824-08:002013-03-06T08:05:29.824-08:00You know, I truly believe we NEVER feel totally co...You know, I truly believe we NEVER feel totally confident in our writing. But I also think that's as it should be. It's a craft, and that means writing is something that has no master. It's also an art that is highly subjective. You'll never get all of the readers to agree on what is good and what isn't. (Just read Amazon reviews for proof. :)

There's never going to be a badge or placard that reads, "You've done it!" no matter how many books you publish or large advances you accumulate.

We strive to become better storytellers each time. That's it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00273059558675234923noreply@blogger.com
