I liked her other one, Running Barefoot too.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13622586494147076094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-14191369670793380272014-01-20T11:05:15.104-08:002014-01-20T11:05:15.104-08:00Yes, ellipses are a pet peeve of mine! ;) And yes,...Yes, ellipses are a pet peeve of mine! ;) And yes, there were parts that were unbelievable, but I still got a kick out of the story. It made me smile a lot. I found it refreshing compared to the typical YA books out there. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post! Happy reading. OH - and let me know if you find an awesome book that I simply must read. ;)Margo Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13474612650116392270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-14516856659576221852014-01-18T19:46:47.018-08:002014-01-18T19:46:47.018-08:00Hey Margo. I was just looking for a good book, an...Hey Margo. I was just looking for a good book, and since this one was only 1.99 on Amazon Kindle, I got it! It was an entertaining read for sure. I really tried to notice the ellipses, but every time I looked for them there weren't any. Must be a pet peeve of yours. I'm no punctuation police (as if you couldn't tell --drives my English teacher husband crazy). I would give it a 3 out of 5 though, because one) I'm stingy with my points, and two) I really think the author shouldn't have tried to make out the writing as if it were verbatim from the record cause seriously, no one talks like that. Especially not nearly-15-year-old girls! I don't care how precocious they are. Maybe a flashback scenario would have worked better or something. So, yeah, that's my pet peeve. It was also a tad bit on the unbelievable side --okay, so a lot-- but who cares? It was a fun story. Thanks for the recommendation. :)Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13622586494147076094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-72571192468933751872014-01-17T22:14:10.713-08:002014-01-17T22:14:10.713-08:00Thanks Jeanette! Thanks Jeanette!Margo Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13474612650116392270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5929885462293344093.post-18367930804490160632014-01-17T19:06:30.540-08:002014-01-17T19:06:30.540-08:00Hello,
