I thought April 1st was the day for practical jokes ... but my seventeen-year-old son thought May 1st would be a great day, too.
He's been enjoying his Spanish class this year, and likes the word MAYO. He thought it would be a funny way to honor the first day of MAYO with a jar of Mayo.
He emptied and washed out a jar of Mayonnaise, filled it with vanilla pudding, and took it to school. He ate from it all day telling people he was celebrating the first day of MAYO with a jar of Mayo.
Did I mention this smart kid of mine has been named as one of the Valedictorians? haha.
I'd make him valedictorian just for that.
ReplyDeleteBahaha, that's so funny! He'd get my vote for class clown in the senior superlatives after this stunt!!
ReplyDeletelol that's a great trick!
ReplyDeleteI really hate watching TV when people eat non-food items or disgusting food - even when I know they'll have switched it for something edible, so that would have really got me!
I think your son should guest host this blog, and tell all about how he came up with the idea to do something so completely AWESOME, and describe in great detail the reactions he got.
ReplyDeleteHILARIOUS!!!!!!!!

Gotta love your son's ingenuity and sense of humor! No wonder he's valedictorian; it takes brains and wit to come up with a plan like that.
ReplyDeleteHaha! That's hilarious! What a great trick!
