DETERMINATION

Oh my gosh. That last post was so depressing, I almost think I should delete it! How do we change our own attitude?

...by making a choice...

I'm a positive thinker by nature, and I don't care how hard the query process becomes...I will not quit. Why? Because I am a writer, and because I am determined.

So, I will be my own Tigger--and spring back!

And no reason to delete. I'm a firm believer that blogs are also for complaints, rants, etc. ;)

  5. Oh, determined is something I'm good at. It goes with persistence and optimism--two of my defining qualities, so though I don't always think of it as determination, it comes down to the same thing....

And I didn't see yesterday's post, but I think it is nice to have a record of the negative, so that when the good happens, we are reminded how sweet it really is.

  13. For writers, determination supersedes both luck and talent. Because no matter how much talent you have, if you don't hang in there long enough, aren't determined enough, no one will ever know.

    Great to meet another Crusader!

  18. Rejection never ceases to suck and it's okay to be bummed about it. But you've already turned it around and written an inspirational post! I recently went through a slew of rejection, too, and we just have to keep trying!

  19. Hi! You came by my blog the other day, so I thought I would return the favour :) Well done for turning your outlook around. I know it's hard, just seems to be part of the writer's life - steel needs to be tempered in the fire to become straong, right? Well done to you and I hope to see more of you and your writing :)
