I had intended to publish a totally worthwhile list of blog posts for you to check out, but I am distracted by my daughter. Take a look at these awesome pictures (and then come back Wednesday for the blog list).
I really like her. I really don't want her to leave home. Ever.
*sigh*
But she seems to think that she'll graduate from high school and then leave for a college far far away.
*sigh, again*
I just need to save my pennies so that I can buy an airline ticket and go visit her. Often.
*smile*
Alas, my daughter is a senior in college, and engaged (wedding Dec, 2014). They never stop growing up!
ReplyDeleteThey grow so quickly, and then you sit and think, where did time go to?
ReplyDeleteAh! She is a beautiful girl. I can understand why you don't want her to leave home. Ever.

She's lovely, Margo! Mine is 18 and ready to fly one day and stay home forever the next, lol! They do grow up so fast and I've given up on finding the brakes to slow down time and just enjoy each phase. :-)

Aah Margo, you sound just like my mum . . . and every single mother around! hehe!

Aw, beautiful pictures!! And just think - it's probably a lot better that you DON'T want her to leave. It means you've raised a great kid. It would be a lot worse if you couldn't wait for her to leave the house... ;)
ReplyDeleteYou must be proud of such a beautiful young lady. Our 16-yr-old is very much a homebody and doesn't want to go too far away for college. The one after her, though... a different kettle of fish!
