Quotes for Inspiration

I've been working on cleaning out unnecessary "things" from my house, and came across lots of interesting notes from various business meetings I've attended over the years.

One sheet had a great list of quotes. I thought you might enjoy some of them. :)

"Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go." -- William Feather

"Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So ... get on your way." -- Dr. Seuss

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." -- Henry David Thoreau

"The reward of a thing well done is to have done it." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

What inspires you?

  1. Great quotes! And I definitely need to hop to when it comes to clearing out my house. ;) I'm sort of in the middle of that right now!

What inspires me? Ummm, music, photography, people watching, landscape watching... The place I live (beautiful beachside scenery). I guess those are a few things that inspire me. Another thing that inspires me is my fellow aspiring authors, and authors too of course! :)

  12. Gotta love that wacky Thoreau. I've been reading a lot of poetry lately. It's given my brain an image fest of new writing ideas.
